Board games and fun programs for our children and youth, and a church nursery during worship service also give
our younger members and little ones an opportunity to participate and enjoy our many Church activities
Zion’s annual Church Picnic provides everyone with an opportunity to enjoy a delightful picnic dinner, compliments of the Church, while having fun and enjoying fellowship at a local public park – especially the children!
In the photo at right, church and youth gather at a local bowling alley to enjoy an afternoon of bowling, fun and fellowship!
Spiritual Growth, Family Fun, and Christian-Based Values Are Alive!
As part of its enrichment program for youngsters, teen members and others that are a part of the family of Zion, the church regularly sponsors interesting, informative yet fun events and activities.
Among the many events held throughout the year are:
– Bible School
– Sleep-Ins at the Church
– Bowling and other local activities
– Bus Trips to Baltimore Orioles games
– Visits to other major sporting events
– A Summer Picnic, held each September at a nearby Park
– And much more!
Zion’s annual Ice Cream Social allows everyone a day to come out for socializing, great homemade ice-cream, an old-fashioned
outdoor hymn sing, and activities for the kids. Plus it's a great way to mingle with our fellow congregation members
The Women’s Guild Of Zion Reformed Church
The Women’s Guild meets monthly at the church and supports the work of the church by providing congregational meals, raising funds for various church projects, and hosting an annual Spring fair.
The group also participates in Church Women United events, sponsors a refugee child, and meets regularly for fellowship and learning.
They meet the second Tuesday of the month, and all women are welcome!
The Rose Circle of Zion Reformed Church
The Rose Circle is a fellowship group that meets once a month.
The group also participates in outreach projects. One project involves filling and distributing Christmas stockings for residents of area nursing homes and providing regular fellowship for retirement center residents, while the second helps to provide monthly support for a young child residing in India.
Any woman associated with Zion is welcome to join the Rose Circle. More information may be obtained at the church office during regular business hours or from the Pastor.
